We love it here. Once we got over all the craziness at the beginning, this is quite a nice place. We spend our days playing at the park and splash pad. Adam comes home and we enjoy our time with him. We save our sight-seeing for weekends and when we have visitors. Sometimes we do meet Adam downtown and do things.
Here's a sample in pictures of our lives right now.
We play a lot at the park.

The splash pad is a favorite.

Lunch at Ikea (and an hour in the playplace is fantastic for me...)

Icing our heads from all the bonks and bruises we get from roughhousing.

We try to nap everyday. Usually mom, Sam and Oliver nap. Jack plays quietly.

We pass by the temple a lot. It's amazing the way it towers over the freeway. We also go to church right next door to it.

Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum.

The Discovery space shuttle was here. It was amazing to see it up close.

Samuel lost his last tube in his ear. He can't hear very well again. He yells in public places. Looks like we'll be getting tubes again when we get home.

We braved the Natural History Museum again. Much better than last time.

Ford's Theater. I wish Nina and I could have walked through this with no children. But alas, they were with us.

Little o just chills with us and is a happy baby.

The boys favorite place, the Navy Memorial. It's close to Adam's work and has lots of water. They can play here for hours.

Little o and his street. Wish I could afford some of the homes that were on this street. Amazing.

The boys (especially Jack), love any water feature.

Just eatin some farmers market apples on the lawn of a building that Adam would like to clerk in...we'll see what happens.

The boys call this the "Ball K'Next." We live next door to the Discovery Channel building and this is in their lobby along with a t-rex skeleton, a baby mammoth, and a few motorcycles. We visit this at least once a week and stay for about 45 minutes.
And little o just rolls with us.

And lastly, we try to make our own fun. Silly faces always help.

And now, we're off to the splash pad.
