It's all gone

Yes my Christmas decorations are all down and gone. And secretly, it feels nice.

Oh I must have forgot...

A while ago, my mom and husband didn't care about my blog, and would occasionally make fun of it. Now they are requesting that information be corrected or added.
Adam: He says that I forgot to put the fact that he watched the kids while I went cross country skiing. Thank you Adam, it was wonderful to get away for a moment, but they are your kids too. :) I really did appreciate it.
Mom: She claims that I "forgot" to put how I fell, and wanted to everyone to know that. She felt jipped because I put a picture of her chasing her ski. So everyone, I fell on my bum and I fell hard. It was really hard to get up and mom came to the rescue. But the reason there isn't a picture of it is because I brought the camera...bwwaahahahaha.
Any more problems with my blog?

Sad Guy

Allergic reactions are no fun.

3 times in 8 days

yes, that's how many times we've been to the Dr. in the past 8 days. And one of those days was for both of the boys!

Sam was given an inhaler for his hacking cough and Jack was given ammoxicillian for his runny nose that wasn't going away last monday. Then this weekend Sam got Jack's symptoms, runny nose, extreme grouchiness, so we took him in on Monday, and he had an ear infection. The Dr. described it as "raging." lovely. So he got ammoxicillian too. Tuesday morning (today) Jack woke up with a rash all over his body! I was really worried. We went in and found out that he is allergic to ammoxacillian, which makes him allergic to all pennacillian meds. poor guy. He looks AWFUL. The Dr. said he could look like this for 5-7 days. Sad guy...I don't have any pictures of him, maybe later.

Also we have a new nephew/cousin! Brad and Cynthia had their little boy today! We're so excited and can't wait to meet _________ (insert name, he doesn't have one yet).

Other than that, we're having fun enjoying the Holiday season.

Here is a look at some of the fun in the tub we had. I can't put up anymore, because I'd rather not have nakie pictures of my kids up on the internet. But these 2 boys LOVE being in the tub together.
We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas surrounded by your loved ones!

Santas!

We got to see Santa 3 times in 2 days! Whew! He's obviously very busy. I didn't think Sam would want to do the Santa thing. Here's what happened with Santa #1 (Northlake 2nd Ward Party Friday night).Sam wasn't so sure about Santa, but he did want that Candy cane...

Then we got this face. Talk about a scowl!!!!!!

Here is Santa #2, the next morning, Alpine 5th Ward party.

He knew he would get a treat and came up to me after
waving it around begging me to open it!

Santa #3, later that night at Great-Grandpa Dunn's.

No hesitation to go sit on Santa's lap! They started to play with his beard and fuzzy white stuff.

Lauren telling Santa what she wants...money.

Ry wanted NOTHING to do with Santa. Can ya tell? This was all he was comfortable with.

Squiddles. Check out grandma's cat socks.

Hayley the reindeer. What you've never heard of her?!
She's the best on Santa's team!

The Helm's. They are grandma and grandpas neighbors and
Hayley the reindeer's grandparents.

Grandma was a party pooper and would only stand behind Santa.

Mom and Dad even got in on it.

The whole fam.

Cousin Beau with Santa. I hear they are pretty close.
Almost like father and son.

Sam couldn't get enough of these hats.
"Hat" is one of the few words he can actually say.
We're getting so excited for Christmas!

What did the Turkey Bird bring you?

Scary Picture, I know. BUT, the Turkey Bird came this morning! And he brought us all sorts of things! I got hot chocolate and a Real Simple magazine, Adam got a Reece's chocolate bar (he is really hard to buy for, doesn't want anything but I thought this would be fun and new) and Sam the man got bath toys. He was very excited! But he was kinda hesitant because we always tell him the oven is hot and today we told him to stick his hand in there.
this is Sam's "cheese." And Adam's crazy cheese.

You are all probably thinking, "What the heck is the turkey bird and why does he bring presents, and why only to them?!" Here's the story. My aunt got sick over Thanksgiving and wouldn't be able to eat the food. So my grandpa (mom's dad) told her that the Turkey Bird would bring her presents in the oven because he didn't want to be cooked. And there you have it, the Turkey Bird. I remember I was probably 10 when I realized that we were the only people who do the Turkey Bird. I was talking to the Egans and they had no idea what I was talking about. It's a fun tradition!

Last night I set these 2 under this little music thing and they were hilarious.

"Oh Jack you're so cute" Sam is saying.

And I got my camera back - yay!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving full of yummy food and good company!
