I had a wonderful day at church today, and came home to this.

Cracked toilet, tile, and glass.
I securely put my new cubby on the wall 2 weeks ago. It has held lots of treasures, water spigot tops, old light insulators, my great-grandmas iron, an old scale, basically all my old fun things I didn't want my kids to touch. Along with all the tools I was using to redo the bathroom.

Then Adam told me there was another earthquake last night. I didn't believe him til he pulled
this up. Crazy, supposedly there was another one at 6:09. Maybe I was too into my dessert to notice.
I think maybe the two earthquakes did something to the backing, and it fell while we were at church. The iron must have gone down point first into the tile, and bounced into the toilet. That iron is a weapon. One of my lovely light insulators shattered, and another was hurt slightly.

Lovely. Well, the hole in the tile is going to be filled with grout, and a kind neighbor of my parents offered me toilet since they just remodeled part of their home. My venting on facebook paid off.
I thought I was getting closer to showing this bathroom off, but apparently it needs more work.
Time to get earthquake insurance.
