Sushi!

We have been indoors basically since the time Sam got sick and I have been DYING to go out and get sushi. No idea why, but I have been craving sushi so bad. So, instead of going out and risk getting Sam sicker, we decided to make it, and it turned out pretty well.
Adam cutting the sushi, he did a wonderful job.
ta-da! Here's our beautiful sushi, we were so perfect...

Just kidding, here's all the rejects, but they were still good!!!!! We had lots of fun !

New Years and sickies and babies...

So I feel like I kinda missed doing New Year Eve...so I'm going to do it fast!
Adam had a few to Martinellis...
Sam partied like a wild child.

Adam also tried to get Sam to watch "Charlie Brown Christmas"

We have been sick for a about a week now. Sam was teething to begin with and then got the croup and on New Years Day we took him in. It was scary to see him so sick. He wasn't moving and his eyes kept rolling into his head. He basically slept the day away. As he got better throughout the week, he got Adam and me sick. Adam got over it quickly, but I am still sick. Then on Friday Sam's temperature spiked and he was all listless again (I took the picture below while I was calling the Dr's office). They said he had an ear infection as well. We came home from the Dr. and we were eating dinner and Sam threw up. Poor boy. But I think it did him some good because he perked up and has been doing well ever since. I on the other hand, am still sick. I went to the Dr. today and he said I am on the verge of having an ear infection, pneumonia and strep throat. No wonder I don't feel so good. Another reason I haven't been getting better is because....drum roll...I AM PREGNANT! My body is probably putting the sickness to priority number 2 because it wants to make sure everything is okay with the baby. We're SO excited for this baby! We're due at the end of August so they will be 19 months apart!!!

Baby Noah!

After being super over-due, Noah Carter Dayton decided to come on January 3rd! We're so happy for Dano and Amy and especially Isaak. He was 7lbs 8 oz, quite bigger than Isaak. He's a cutie and we're so sad that we can't be down there to see him face to face.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve! My dad has taken all of us swimming for a long time on Christmas Eve to get us all worn out. It's a fun tradition and actually a really good idea. Sam had a BLAST!
Look at those cute little teethers!

This year we spent actual Christmas Eve with the Dunns, my grandparents. Sam had such a good time.Adam and Sam

A few nights before we had the Sparks Christmas party.
Sam eating only string cheese for dinner.
Sam got right up to the book Grandma was reading and loved it.
Grandma and "the rat" (otherwise known as Princess) singing together. All the babies started to cry.
Sam was not interested in being a sheep for the nativity...I love how Holly and Lauren are trying to talk him into it.He wanted to be baby Jesus.
