Voila! Cute mirror from yard sale painted fun blue! I have a love hate relationship with the color on my walls. In this situation, it's a hate.Sorry no "before" for this one. This mirror was a yucky goldish.
I don't think this is the right place to put it yet, but I still like it.This little beauty was free. Just on someone's lawn, and I'm the crazy lady who got out and took it.
It'll be cute painted brown in baby Jack's room.This fabric is for the boys curtains. Stripes for Sam, trees for Jack.
This awesome piece I saw at a yard sale and thought about it, decided no, then regretted it. Last Saturday I saw it again! LP Chamber Choir had a yard sale and apparently one of the choir kids was this lady's neighbor and she donated it to him.
My new nightstand. Now, get new knobs, or clean up these funky cool ones? I want this yellow. Or maybe I'm just having a yellow fascination right now. Why yes, that sticker on the top does say "$1."I love old windows.
These are in my entryway. Just imagine lots and lots of old black and white pictures.That's a few of my projects for now. I would love love any input. Now if I can find the time to do them all...

Ahhh, you're so creative!! I am just too much of a "keep my house bare" kind of gal to even begin to have ideas of what to do with cool old stuff. I can't wait to see the after pictures!!

These are great projects and you have awesome ideas--especilly the windows--awesome, awesome, awesome. It's funny I usually don't like yellow, but yellow has been calling my name for various things all summer too! it's a happy color :)

Katie, Your blog is so cute! I love it. I love refinishing old pieces of furniture too..and trying to come up with ways to hide ugly things in my house. I am NOT so good at it though! Love it!
