I wasn't very excited about having a pet. But I loooooove having a tortoise. Easiest pet ever. And I can always catch him. Unlike doves flying all over my house.
Adam's cousin was giving away their tortoise because they were moving, and she posted on Facebook asking if anyone wanted him. My mother-in-law tagged me in a comment saying I might want him. I said to Adam (laughing), "Your mom is crazy, she thinks we want a tortoise!"
Adam looked at me with the most serious look on his face and said, "I do want a tortoise."
He'll be right at home when we move to Vegas later this year.
Aaaannnnnnd he only has one eye. Arrrgh! We've got ourselves a pirate tortoise!
