What!? You don't love it (Brittney...)?! That's okay, me neither. (Adam is another story...)
A little spray paint later...
Much better! This one will be up and away from the children. I purposely bought a cheap set because I knew it would be well loved. There have been parades, fighting matches against each other (baby Jesus is always left out of course), and weapons all from a simple nativity set.
Enter liquid nails. I just discovered this stuff and I am hooked. I have hot glued shepherd boy's head and angels hands too many times.
So far liquid nails have been working wonderfully.
Baby Jesus is currently having his arm worked on.
Poor baby Jesus. He's probably enjoying his break from the children.

Oh I am laughing so hard right now. SO MUCH BETTER! The creepy factor is definitely at a zero now. You have such an amazing eye for the possibility in things. Beautiful!
Wow, they look so good! I didn't doubt you couldn't get rid of the creepiness... and here I thought you couldn't spray away creepiness. I do have to say the first picture did scare me a bit. We have that same nativity, and pretty much have glued back all of the same pieces. Except last year poor angel got broken so bad, I had to throw her away, so our nativity is angeless
I have a teeny wood nativity that is out of the boys reach, because Mary kept losing her head.
Also, it looks amazing silver.
Dang why didn't I think of that! It looks AWESOME!
I love the silver! Good eye!
I love the spray paint! Love love love. Can I have it?
